About The Project
Located in the prestigious riverside suburb of Graceville, QLD, this luxury residence was designed and built by Capital Luxury Residences with a strong focus on seamlessly integrating natural timber elements into the architectural design.
The project features Mortlock Timber’s TRENDPLANK Cladding System, enhancing the façade with high-quality Vacoa timber, pre-coated in WOCA Walnut finish for superior durability and aesthetic appeal. The use of fine-sawn texture cladding and curved timber elements creates a contemporary and sophisticated finish, bringing warmth and depth to the exterior.
A key aspect of the design was achieving curved timber detailing, requiring TRENDPLANK’s 70mm cladding profile to follow the architectural flow. End-matching technology was also used, ensuring seamless installation with minimal waste.
Mortlock Timber’s TRENDPLANK system was chosen for its sustainability, precision-milled quality, and ease of installation. The pre-coated, end-matched battens support a high-end, low-maintenance finish, aligning with environmentally conscious building practices.
