about the project
Located in the serene town of Port Coogee, Western Australia, the Omeo Residence is a striking architectural collaboration between Bosske Architecture and McCombie Construction. The design concept embraces the region’s natural beauty, integrating modern sophistication with a deep respect for its historical and rugged surroundings. The project features the use of Pacific Teak Cladding in Trendplank 120×18, selected for its exceptional durability, aesthetic warmth, and natural resilience, making it an ideal choice for the coastal climate.
The thermally modified Pacific Teak wood not only enhances the home’s visual appeal with its rich, golden hues, but its robust characteristics ensure longevity and low maintenance. The use of Trendplank brings out the beauty of the timber, enhancing the residence’s connection to the environment while providing excellent protection against the elements. The result is a timeless, sustainable home that reflects both the quiet beauty of Port Coogee and the efficient use of high-performance materials, creating a perfect balance between nature and design.
